Previous Record Holder: Wally Hake 12' in 1946 note: This was a pretty good vault considering there were no flex poles in 1946, only metal and bamboo. With a modern pole this record could have been a foot or more higher. The record above was taken from a list of school records prepared by Sunday Durland in 1955. There appear to be gaps in the records from 1955 to 1994 so if anyone has information on records set during this period please contact me here. -George Green, head track coach. |
